“Matlab?”
“Matlab ki ek husband apni wife ko intensely nahi dekhega to kya uski chappal ko dekhega?”
Her eyes snapped open as hearty laughter escaped her lips as the mention of chappal brought back the memories that irked up him but made her giggle.
“Forget I said that. Humare beech fir kabhi tumhari chappal ko nahi aane dunga main…” Visibly annoyed, he tore his gaze from her until she slipped her fingers underneath his chin, making him look back at her.
“Aapki desires pool me jakar kuch zada hi wild nahi jo jaati hai, Mr. Aashiq Veer Malhotra, hmm?”
“Meri desires pool dekhkar nahi… tumhe dekh kar wild ho jaati hai!”
A crimson blush painted her cheeks in the shade of shyness as teasing him started to backfire on her. She slapped her palm on his chest when he began to lean closer.
“Bas. Bas, Mr. Aashiq Veer Malhotra. Apni desires ko thoda control me rakhiye… aur khud ko bhi. Matlab sharam naam ki cheez hi nahi hai na aap me? Kaha hai. Kiske ghar par hai koi farq hi nahi padta na aapko?”
He darted her an indifferent look. “Farq tab padta jab main Kartik ke ghar me apni ex-girlfriend ke saath hota. Main to apni wife ke saath hoon. Aur agar tumhe fir bhi itni hi padi hai to tum dekhlo jo bhi hai tumhara farq and all. Mere side se bhi farq ko hi bol dena aur kehna main busy hoon. Baad me aaye.”
Her jaw dropped at her husband’s sheer I-don’t-give-a-damn-attitude before he wrapped his hands around her back, enveloping her in his embrace and she could only wonder what had she truly done to find a soulmate like him whose entire freaking universe revolved around her.
