I’ll Miss You – Ishk Par Zor Nahi

“You sure that you do wanna go, right?”

His hands that were folding his clothes to pack paused. He looked at her quiet figure leaning onto the wall beside the balcony. “You don’t want me to go?”

“Not like that but…” She wished, she had the liberty to give her voice to her every feeling that was dying to come out.

She wished, she could ask him to stay back because she had become way too habitual to his presence around her to imagine a life without him.

She wished, she could hold his hand, place it near her heart and let him hear that her traitor heart had abandoned her long, long ago and signed an untootable contract to beat for only him.

She wished, she could tell him that he had changed her life in the past six months just by being in it.

She wished, she could tell him that she wanted him for longer. Forever. Around her. Like he had been for the past six months.

She wished, she could tell him that she would love to bring him tea for the rest of her life, every night when he had a headache after a long day at work.

She wished, she could tell him that she would choose to be silly for the rest of her life just to make him smile and laugh even at her own expense.

She wished, she could tell him that even though she didn’t know the C of cooking, she would at least try to learn it and then they would divide responsibilities.

She wished, she could tell him that even though she had a hectic job that kept her busy throughout the day, she would love to take out a minute or two to drop some cheesy messages to him to make sure that he would keep either smiling or giggling even in the stressful moments during work.

She wished, she could tell him that her heart had been weeping ever since he told her that he was moving out of the country for the work purpose and might not return for at least a couple of years. Or who knows…. even forever! Her heart sank at the possibility.

She wished, she could tell him that she… had fallen so hard for him that now there was no way back from her feelings.

She wished to say so much but all that she could say was, “I’ll miss you, Ahaan.”

I’ll
Miss
You!

This is a random piece of fiction. Absolute imagination. Kind of a random mini tale based on the picture on the characters named Ishqi and Aahan from the show Ishk Par Zor Nahi.
