Humare Liye – Ishk Par Zor Nahi

Her heart had never run faster than it did in those moments in which she stared at the heart of flowers that he held in front of her.

She could’ve never thought that he would go on his knees for anyone in his life considering the values instilled in him by his orthodox grandmother.

Her lips had just begun to curl in a smile when she held them still. What was she thinking? She couldn’t say yes to him. Not in this lifetime. She stepped back from him.

“Aap kyun kar rahe hai ye? Aap bhi jaante hai humara koi future nahi hai. Aapki Dadi mujhe kabhi accept nahi karengi.”

“Unhone kaha aisa?”

“Not really but I can feel that she doesn’t like me. Har baar mujhe dekhkar upset hi hoti hai wo.”

“Forget about her for the time being. Tum apni baat karo. Main apna dil tumhe de chuka hoon. Kya tum dogi mujhe apna? I promise, I’ll take care of it way more delicately than you take care of it. Yakeen to tum already de chuki ho mujhe apna. Can I have more? Can I have your love, Ishqi?”

She hated him for always trapping her in his woven web of words, escaping which always seemed beyond her.

“Jis pyaar ki koi manzil hi nahi hai wo mil bhi gaya to kya? Eventually, it will come to a dead end.”

“Maine kaha na tum sirf apni baat karo. Kisi bhi aur cheez ya insaan ki nahi. Tell me what you feel without letting any external factors influence it.”

She sighed. “You’re missing the main point, AVM.”

“I am not. You are making a tiny point the main when it’s not. At least not from where I see it. For me, it’s more like that blurry spot that I know, I am capable of erasing like it never existed.”

“You are saying that you can convince Dadi?”

“You don’t trust me on that?”

“I don’t trust your Dadi on that.” She bit her lip for letting it come out so unfiltered. “No, I didn’t mean it that way. I am sorry.”

“Ishqi.” He managed the flowers in one hand while his other hand reached out for hers. “Kya tum mujhse pyaar karti ho? Bolo. Karti ho mujhse pyaar?”

Her eyes poured into hers and her head bobbed in a nod on its own accord.

“Bas to fir. Saam. Daam. Dand. Bhed. Jo karna pade. Main sab ko mana lunga… humare liye!”

Jo Naal Tere Na Jiya, To Jee Ke Ki Kara! 💜

This is a random piece of fiction. Absolute imagination. Kind of a random mini tale based on the picture on the characters named Ishqi and Aahan from the show Ishk Par Zor Nahi.
