His sleep had ditched him and once again, the perpetrator was – Ishqi! The woman who controlled his mind like an impeccably skilled witch!
She actively practiced witchcraft, he was sure. Because otherwise how she had him entrapped in the unfathomable Ishqi universe had no justification!
No matter how deep he would dive into her universe every time, she still stayed a profound mystery to him. Every time he thought he was about to touch the core of her existence, she would do something for him to realize that she was still far from his understanding.
She had given up her everything just to protect his sister. Who does that? That was utterly stupid yet incredibly courageous in his opinion. He wasn’t sure if he could have ever been that brave for someone who practically held no relation to him!
Ishqi was truly Ishqi! A woman like no other!
As someone, who was habitual of keeping proof over instincts, he hadn’t allowed his heart to mutter a word while letting his mind promote her from the accused to the culprit. No matter for how long his heart wept, he didn’t pay heed. The world had a fair share in him believing that his heart was foolish and his mind, sane.
But, the woman who had stepped into his life didn’t belong to the world of vicious schemes. She was from her own universe – the white universe with no malicious intentions but only love for others.
But by the time, that realization dawned on him, it was too late. He had scarred her heart far too deeply to heal. His hands trembled even at the thought of touching it again, afraid of hurting it more than it already had.
It didn’t matter how suffocating his guilt was. It didn’t matter how deeply apologetic he was. The fact stayed – he had crossed every line with her in his revenge. That every line – which if anyone else had crossed – he would have killed them with his bare hands! That every line!
