Crazy But Mine – Thipkyanchi Rangoli

“Parat asa kadhi kela tar bagh! Asa kasa gela tu mala na bhetata Bangalore la? Mi uthle nahi mhanun tu mala uthavla hi nahi?” Breaking the hug, she began hitting on his arm. “Mean Khadoos Kanitkar.”

“Ae-ae… lagtay mala…” He brought his bag at the front to his defense but it was on the floor within seconds as the fierce attacker refused to calm down.

“Lagtay? Good. Lagaylach pahije!” She forced a grin before getting back to punishing her husband for snatching the chance to give him a goodbye hug and the reminder to be back soon the previous morning when he left for a conference.

He held her wrist, holding her to himself. “Konitari far miss kelela distay mala…”

She frowned as he raised a brow, teasing her. “Nahi nahi. Mi kashala miss karel na tula. Tu tari kuthe miss kela mala? Ek call… ek call nahi kelas tu, Khadoos?” She jerked his hands that were holding her. “Kasa karshil na… tuzi favorite company hoti na tuzyasobat. Tuzi favorite assistant. NETRA TAI!” Gritting teeth, she turned her face away.

“Arey yaar… parat tech,” he muttered, sighing at her sarcastic taunts. “Tula mahit aahe mala kay watate, Apurva?”

“KAY?”

He flinched at her loud frustrated pitch. “I think you are obsessed. With Netra. Mhanun jithe tithe tula bas tich diste. Kalpasun aata bhetlo aapan pan tula tyacha kahich nahi. Mi ek kaam karto… mi na parat jato. Nahitari tula mazya asnya nasyane kuthe kay farak padtoy?”

Visibly upset, he turned back on his feet but before he could take a step toward the door, she grabbed his arm. “Kon mhantay mala farak nahi padat?”

He suppressed the smile that crept over his lips when his emotional blackmail that he didn’t quite think would work on her actually did. Clearing his throat, he put on the mask of pretense. “Tu!”

“Mi? Mi kadhi mhatla?” She complained. “Khadoos… sorry. Aik na… kharach sorry.” She squeezed his hand, making him turn toward her and he couldn’t hold back his laughter anymore.

“Tu vedi aahe, mahiti aahe tula? Pan,” he pressed his index finger on her nose before lifting her in his arms. “Thank God… mazi aahes.”

This is a random piece of fiction. Absolute imagination. Kind of a random mini tale based on the picture.
