Forever With Me Regardless of Where I Am – Thipkyanchi Rangoli

“Tula jaychach ahe tar?”

Her brows rose as she bit back a smile before halting her packing. “Ka? Tula mala jau dyaycha nahi ahe ka?”

He narrowed his eyes at her for a brief moment before mentally smacking himself for revealing his distress so bluntly for her to tease. “Che… ajibat nahi. Asa kahihi NAHI aahe, Apurva. Hyala kay arth aahe? Mhanje,” he paused to adjust his glasses, “mala tula jau dyaycha nahi… ase ka asel na?”

“Te tu sang mala, Khadoos!”

“Mi? Mi kay sangu?” He hurriedly got down from the bed and sat on the small couch near their bed. He needed to get his face out of her sight because he knew that no matter what mask of pretense he wore – his eyes were going to betray him. Like always.

She let out a silent laugh, staring at his back. She had never thought that her husband was going to give a tough competition to her favorite teddy in cuteness someday.

She followed him and stood in front of him, letting him see her wide smile without any hesitation. “Khadoos… mi fakt 4 divsansathi jatey! Study tour aahe arey. Tula mahiti aahe ki compulsory aahe. Nasta tar…”

“Nasta tar?” Impatience flickered in his orbs.

She sat beside him and slipped her hand around his arm. “Nasta… tari geli asti! Kiti majja yenar tikde, Khadoos! I seriously can’t wait to go.”

His face momentarily fell. He pushed her hand off his skin, shifting in his place to put in some distance between them.

“Arey… arey…” She laughed. “Gammat kartey na mi, Khadoos! Tula itka pan nahi kalat? Kasa re asa tu?”

“Mi? Swata kade bagh zara. Kashi ga ashi tu? 4 divas? Seriously, Apurva? 4 divas?”

“You’re making it sound like it’s not 4 days but 4 years!”

“Without you, 4 days gonna seem 4 years,” he muttered under his breath.

“Kay?” she asked.

“Kahi nahi!” He turned his face away, still bummed out. “Tu rahu shakshil mazya shivaay?”

She smiled. “Tuzya pasun lamb asne mhanje tuzya shivaay asne ase hot nahi na, Khadoos! Mi kuthehi jari asli… tari tu kayam mazya sobat astos,” she placed her palm on her heart, “ithe. Kayam. Kayam, Khadoos, kayam!”

This is a random piece of fiction. Absolute imagination. Kind of a random mini-tale based on the picture!
