He Hated Himself For Hating Her – Ishk Par Zor Nahi

“Mujhe Ishqi ke pass jaana hoga. Kuch to gadbad hai. Ishqi needs me.”

He was the one to break her address to her Maasa Ji, standing in his assumption that she was ruining her family but the moment he heard the manager, he was taken back to memory lane when every time her Maasa Ji’s mention had occurred and he knew… he knew that something was off.

She hadn’t called him but he had heard her. She needed him and he ran to her. Leaving his engagement. Without bothering to inform his family. He left everything – for her.

“Tumne Ishqi pe haath uthaya. How dare you? Ishqi pe haath kaise uthaya tune? Iss aadmi ne tumpar haath uthaya hai. Mere saamne tumpar koi haath uthayega ye main bardasht nahi kar sakta.”

His fury was at its peak. The blood on her forehead left the flames blazing out from the volcano of his rage. And that volcano was going to swallow the man alive who had dared to lay his hand on her.

Even her intervention couldn’t calm him. He cared the least about anything. His heart only knew that she was hurt and his mind only knew that he was going to tear down the perpetrator with his bare hands.

“Nahi jaaunga main. Kahi nahi jaaunga. Yahi rukunga aur tumhe protect karunga. Kahi nahi jaaunga.”

He had forgotten that they no longer shared a bond where he could stand up for her without needing to justify his actions and gestures. Even after she asked him to leave – he adamantly refused. He couldn’t leave her alone. There. With that man. Not happening.

Even an earthquake couldn’t have made his feet leave the place but her three words did.

“Kis haq se?”

“Please, akele andar mat jao. Trust me.”

His selfish heart didn’t bother recalling that he was the one to make her regret trusting him. His selfish heart was only concerned about her safety. His selfish heart was suffocating to even imagine what was going to happen behind the closed door with her.

No.

He wouldn’t dare to think about that.

His heart suffered a hundred panic attacks the moment she walked inside. He knew she wouldn’t let him in and he couldn’t silently wait for that man to touch her again so he confided in his Chaachi.

This way or that way, him or someone else – he would make sure that she stayed alright. If she wouldn’t allow him – he would send someone else.

Heck, he would call up an entire police force if needed but he wouldn’t let anyone touch her. Anyone hurt her. Anyone… harm her.

In those moments of helplessness and vulnerability – he had forgotten that willingly or unwillingly – he had also been a part of the world that had scarred her. He – scarred her.

He might never be able to admit to her that if there was something he hated the most after his mother’s betrayal – then it was the fact that – he had to belong to the world that gifted her tears and pain.

He – hated himself – for hating her.
