Her Hopelessly Devoted Boyfriend – Thipkyanchi Rangoli

“पण तुला नाही आवडलं न तिकडे जायला? सोड मग!”

Shashank Kanitkar, the diligent student who had never agreed to bunk any of his classes throughout his academic life – didn’t seem to mind waving goodbye to the marriage counselor’s cabin because his wife wasn’t too keen on saying hi to it.

Going back on his word, dismissing people, and not showing up after agreeing weren’t his traits but he seemed to care the least what Dr. Damayanti Dudhkhule would think about him.

If there was someone who he did care about at that moment then it was his wife.

The wife he was trying his hardest to charm – by being her boyfriend, abandoning his ‘husband identity’ because apparently, that was what she wanted.

Despite knowing that he didn’t have it in him to act like a boyfriend – heck, he still wondered why this ‘boyfriend naamak prani’ was in existence – he stepped into the dating game.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

His heart had forced him to reach before the decided time at the marriage counselor’s office because –
A. It was dying to see her.
B. It couldn’t make her wait.

The longer she took, the more desperate he got.

His brain had tried to butt in a couple of times that she might not come but his heart paid no heed because it knew that she… would come.

His wife – soon-to-be his girlfriend – would come.

Because her husband – already her hopelessly devoted boyfriend – was waiting for her.

Inexperienced was he,
Unsure, by the end, where he would be!

He was still not going to quit the game,
Because the winning prize was the photo frame.

The photo frame of their wedding that his anger had made him lose,
By winning her heart again, it was their relationship that he was going to make her choose.
