Thipkyanchi Rangoli – Episode 381 – Written Update and Episode Review

Kaha use pata hai har dil uss jaisa nahi,
Jis par yaqeen kar nikla hai madad karne wo chhalava sach hi nahi.
Jaal bicchaye baithe hai dushman,
Kaha hai usko khabar,
Kaise bacha payega khudko,
Uss waar se jo dekh hi nahi payi nazar?

The episode begins with Shashank and Apurva unpacking and organizing their things back in their room. Shashank tries to talk to Apurva who royally ignores him and gives him the silent treatment until Shashank holds her and sincerely apologizes.

She also says sorry and promises to not lie in the future – she says I’ll at least try. Shashank receives Netra’s call who acts scared and manipulates him by saying something might happen to her if he didn’t reach her place on time.

Shashank rushes to her aid, believing her without informing Apurva who keeps asking him where he is going. Shashank finds Netra’s house to be a mess when he reaches there. She cries and tells him that she doesn’t know who did this, someone’s keeping an eye on her and she is afraid of being alone there.

He asks where her husband is but she questions him back asking if he did not like that she called him there, adding that we think of our close people in such situations so I called you.

Apurva calls Shashank but Netra doesn’t let him take it but he ends up answering it without knowing and places it on the table. Apurva hears Shashank and Netra and concludes that Netra is in some sort of problem.

After consoling Netra, Shashank tries to leave but Netra holds him back, requesting him to stay with her for the night which he refuses to do. She persists and he stands contemplating what to do.

Sarika comes there and reveals that Apurva called her. Shashank gets confused about how Apurva got to know. He is relieved nonetheless and leaves.

Shashank wakes up saying don’t go, Apurva from his dream in which Apurva is extremely upset and enraged that he went to Netra without informing her. In the dream, she tells him that she knows he doesn’t like her, asks him to bring Netra to the Wada and stay with her and that she would leave.

The dream unsettles him and he looks for Apurva to assure himself that it was just a dream but finds her nowhere in the room. He opens the cupboard only to realize that even her clothes aren’t there and gets anxious.

What did I watch! Ugh. The episode was rather disappointing. I felt sab kuch bhi bol rahe, kuch bhi kar rahe throughout the episode. Definitely the episode I would never go back to rewatch. Never. I was actually excited to see how they were going to resolve things, how sincere and genuine the apologies were going to be and of course, the hug (Have I mentioned before how much I love their hugs? <3) but tadaa… the episode turned out to be kinda duh.

I still loved the hug though. This one was a little different from the previous ones that we have seen so far. Kind of more endearing with the way he brings her head to touch his but the conversation was… 🙁

I appreciate Shashank’s apology. What I don’t appreciate is how he goes back to being normal and expects her to be normal before apologizing every time the mess gets sorted. Iska humesha ka hogaya hai ab.

He apologized though and I am glad that he acknowledges that he could have been calm and he could have chosen to listen to her side once followed by how he should have taken her side at least in front of Aatya-Aaji and he should not have let her go.

But Apurva… ugh. She made me roll my eyes when she kept chanting – I didn’t lie. I didn’t lie. And later, I didn’t tell you because you were working and I didn’t want to disturb you.

Tell me, you’re joking, Apurva because if this is not a joke then I don’t know what this is.

Shashank – Where are you, Apurva? Whose call it was that made you leave so suddenly?

Apurva – Atti… It was Atti. I came to meet Atti.

Erm, I think it is called a lie, no, Apurva?

Ya plan madhe Khadoos nako. Kukki la saamil karun ghyala hava.

When Kukki said that Shashank wouldn’t have reacted this way had we told him everything beforehand after Shashank blasted Apurva, Apurva Vartak Kanitkar’s words were – arey, Kukki, tu kahihi kay boltoys? Tyala sangitla asta tar to ho mhanala asta ka?

So, no, Apurva – you did not hide things from him because he was working and you didn’t want to disturb him. You chose not to tell him things because you believed that he wouldn’t let you do it which is just fine but at least accept it?

And, oh, how confidently you said – Mi khota bolle navte. Lapavun thevla hota… thodasa… tu kamaat busy hotas mhanun.

Matlab na to galti maano aur jo blame hai saamne wale par daal do. Wah! Hypocritical much?

I appreciate when people are honest like Shashank was while apologizing. He accepted that her lie made him angry but he should have kept calm.

That’s one way of looking at it. If you look at it in a different way, Apurva is actually very relatable. When she goes mi pan sorry and starts blabbering how it’s not actually her fault but it somewhere is, occasionally looking down – a lot of us have done that at some point of time in life.

Hume pata hota hai galti to hai humari lekin maan-ni nahi hoti. Maafi mangni bhi hoti hai lekin blame lena bhi nahi hota. It’s sweet stuff (at times). Saamne wale ko bhi sab pata hota hai and he/she plays along, nodding their heads – haan, haan, tumhari kaha koi galti hai, tumhari kab koi galti hoti hai? Haha. It’s an integral part of endearing relationships.

Apurva saying this needs to be the last time you behaved with me this way, if you do it again then see what I do sounds right because Shashank has clearly messed up a lot of times and he needs to get better at handling their misunderstandings now. Having said that, this needs to be the last time you have lied to him as well, Apurva. Then it sounds perfect.

Shashank saying it won’t happen again, I am really sorry had me narrow my eyes at him for a moment or two. I want to believe you but didn’t you make the same promise to her when you were trying to bring her back after you called her a mistake in the Avantika track? I would like to believe that you’ll keep this promise this time. Don’t let me down or else… kya hi karungi main? Dekhna band kar dungi. Aur kya?  xD.

The let’s clean this up and you sit to study bit was hilarious and quite cute. That was like the scene of the day for me. I love how Shashank actually really does care about Apurva’s studies because isko khud ko to kuch padi hai nahi. Kisi ko to seriously lena padega warna result bolega – agle saal fir milenge.

I am not a fan of zabardasti ki misunderstanding which was created here.

Shashank could have told Apurva that he was going to Netra’s home. Nahi, mi yeto, mi yeto, mi yeto mhanayla jitka vel lagla titkach vel lagla asta he mhanayla ki Netra kade kahitari problem zalay. Baki nantar sangto.

At least, Netra kade jatoy, itka tari sangaylach hava hota aani Shashank sanguch shakla asta. The need to introduce conflict and misunderstanding is not problematic but the execution here is.

The better and more convincing way of showing this could have been – Apurva either being in the washroom or not in the room when Shashank received Netra’s call. In that situation, Shashank leaving without informing her would have seemed a lot more digestible in my opinion.

Shashank certainly has been foolish and ignorant when it came to Netra in the past but today he was just being nice and human in my opinion. It has not been revealed for how long Netra has been working with Shashank but I would like to believe that it must have been quite a while for him to have known her. It’s humanity. If someone calls you up and says what Netra did to Shashank, a lot of us would try to help even if we are not on great terms because that automatically takes a backseat in such situations where there is a threat to someone’s life. It’s hard to ignore and sit indifferent.

Miss Kadwi Dawai, I mean Desai = Miss Netra Desai ( who is now Mrs. in her head < still rolling eyes at that >)

I am not going to lie, I legit felt that I was being heartless and mean when I couldn’t help but laugh when she started shedding her magarmach ke aansu in front of Shashank. Netra’s obsession is taking a dangerous turn now. Everything that she said to Shashank on the call was… scary. The way Netra played with Shashank’s mind here though… jar tumhi yayla ushir kela aani mala kahi zala tar? – Oof! The manipulation is appalling.

Netra Desai’s acting though! Ise to job quit kar daily soaps mein try karna chahiye. Kya shaatir dimag hai. Kya fullproof planning hai! Kya convincing execution hai!

She legit messed up the whole house for this reason. Either she forgot that she will have to clean up later or she LOVES cleaning. Warna hum jaise normal log ye karne ka bure se bure sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakte… Already cheeze thik se rakhte rakhte din nikal jata hai. What Netra did is certainly a nightmare for a lot of us. xD.

Shashank being lame for straight ten seconds though – Asa kasa koni gharat shiru shakta? Tu nakki lock kela hota?

AREY… gharala lock asla ki chor shirat nahi gharat? Chorya hot nahi? Lock asunahi koni kasa shirla kasa shirla mhanje… ugh.

Shakyach nahiye, Sir. Mi don tinda check karun nighale hote.

Kaash aap aise hi check kar leti ke jis insaan ko aap paana chahti hai wo already kisi aur ka ho chuka hai. Kisi aur ka kya aapki khud ki behen ka ho chuka hai! Sirf lock hi mat check kiya kijiye, Netra Ma’am. Zara baki cheeze bhi to dekhiye. Kafi problems bach jayegi. Aapki bhi aur aapke wajah se jo dusro ko jehlni padti hai unki bhi.

Jiyo aur jeene do!

Sigh.

I appreciate Shashank’s stance in the whole situation. Apart from not informing Apurva, he was actually good. He usually does entertain Netra which gets on everyone’s nerves and rightfully so but here, he was quite vocal and firm.

He very quickly separated her from himself when she tried to forcefully hug himHe put it loud and clear that he cannot stay with her the whole night. He added that his wife must be waiting for her.

The very fact that he believes that Netra is now married has allowed him to be a little free around her. Any sane person would believe that now that she is married, she is no longer into me. Had Netra not been married in his eyes, he would have probably consciously dragged Apurva along with himself to Netra’s place but now his mind has no reason to be suspicious or awkward for that matter.

Iss insaan ko pata kaha hai jis se sympathize kar raha hai wo isko aisi jagah pohochayegi jaha ise khud ko sympathy dikhani padegi.  Sigh.

Apurva calling Sarika and sending her to Netra’s place made me first say smart bayko but I was quick to realize that it wasn’t smart bayko but rather caring bahin. Apurva genuinely felt that Netra is in some kind of problem because of which she sent Sarika to her place.

I don’t think she even considered that this could be Netra’s trap. I feel her reason for sending Sarika was genuinely Netra and not Shashank.

Apurva protected her Khadoos unknowingly though. Netra’s trap was quite well-planned but Apurva ruined it even without knowing about her plan.

Ab to samajh jao, Netra Ma’am. Koi to samjhao inko.

Kagdacha vimaan nahi premacha parachute aahe,
Kunihi kuthunahi dhakka dila tari kayam udnaarach aahe.
Khali padun, maatit milna avghadach nahi ashakya aahe,
Karan gairsamjachya shatrusamor premache shashtra ubhe aahe!

Shashank’s dream though. I was supposed to find it cute, no? Kaan dukhayla lagle maze. Sigh. I realized after hearing Apurva how annoying it can be for other people when you talk, talk and talk without a pause.

Storing this in my brain – no matter what, do not go on ranting non-stop. It gets… unbearable for other people.

Something to be noticed here is – Apurva saying bring Netra here and stuff – in her outburst in Shashank’s dream. This doesn’t sound good. Kind of like giving the audience a hint that now Netra’s drama is going to begin – someone is spying on me, someone is trying to harm me, blah blah blah. How do I stay alone here? My life is in danger. Blah blah blah and this will be her new plan for her entry into the Kanitkar’s Wada?

Netra staying in Wada again is going to get on everyone’s nerves again if at all it happens.

Shashank waking up from the dream and looking for Apurva to make sure that she was around despite his sane mind knowing that it was just a dream and she was surely around though. Sweet. The desperate need for the assurance that she is right there with him gives away a lot.

The dramatic Apurva in Shashank’s dream though – tula mi aavdatach nahi re. Tula ti Netra ch aawadte karan mi… mi dhabbu aahe aani ti Netra… hushar aahe. 😂

This is the one review I was waiting for Harshada!! Majja ali vachtana.. miss kadwi kareli needs the dose of her own medicine! She is super dangerous man. I am borderline scared of her obsession with Khadoos! I want to and so don’t want to see how this unfolds!
