Can we not play this compliment game forever?
My heart can’t quite resist wishing to continue reading these sweet words in your letter!
The letter that your heart wrote to me,
Holding these compliments for me,
Almost magically charged my low battery.
But I have a feeling that my battery would go down quite soon,
Tonight… will you hide me in your safe cocoon?

Netra and her jokes, both were so… erm… weird. She said that they were jokes but not a single one made me laugh. Not a single one, I repeat. Rather they made me cringe. Sigh.
It was fine though but what actually did annoy me was Mr. Kanitkar’s ultra-soft and mild way of making Netra understand. Despite knowing what she was clearly hinting at, the tone that he chose to remind her that she does not get to say what she said wasn’t the tone that he chooses if and when he has to make Apurva understand something.
Why so biased, Mr. Kanitkar? Why so biased?
The Compliment Game was a pretty feel-good one that they came up with. After all, this is Thipkyanchi Rangoli and we must never forget that they have their own sweet, little ways to make the audience smile even in the tracks dominated by angst.
I felt, this is one of the reasons why we got to see this game. Of course, it did suit the track as well.
I really do admire Apurva. Especially the Apurva that we have been seeing lately. It hasn’t been more than a couple of days since Shashank’s hurtful words and this woman was still so excited with the list of her compliments for him. From the bottom of her heart. There was no sham. No exaggeration. It was everything that she sincerely feels. Despite the fact that he recently said that he is ashamed to have her as his wife, here was she… flaunting how glad she was to have him as her husband.
Team Mrs. Kanitkar FTW.
It was good to see that Shashank does acknowledge that Apurva isn’t a double-faced woman but felt a bit hypocritical of him to say so because if Apurva can’t hide anything, why did he accuse her of having pushed Netra even when she kept saying that she didn’t?
If you do find her eyes that transparent, then why could you not see her truth in them when you kept blaming her for what happened to Netra?
The two things are contradictory. It’s either she can’t hide anything or she can. There is no in-between. It’s either you can see her truth in her eyes or you can’t. There is no in-between.
When Apurva pulls Shashank by his hand when he is about to sit near Netra (probably) and takes him along with her – to make him sit beside her – was actually a moment that I found so incredibly sweet though I wish she did not have to do that. Mr. Kanitkar should have gone to sit near her on his own.
Amey’s patience though. It is admirable. Netra did not even have the basic courtesy to say at least one nice thing about Amey. Quite disappointing. Her words about Shashank in front of his whole family were awkward, to say the least. And cringe-worthy to some extent.
Shashank is the nicest one in the whole world.
Itni aur aisi taaref to Mr. Kanitkar ke loyal fandom se bhi nahi ho paayegi. Ye to bas Netra Ma’am ki hi bas ki baat hai.
But even he doesn’t understand that he deserves a lot more than what he has got.
I couldn’t comprehend the comfortable silence that followed Netra’s words that would leave anyone wondering what exactly she was trying to say but none of these people really reacted. I wonder why!
Never mind.
Netra’s words regarding how she did not get to experience a family’s unconditional love should have evoked at least a percent of sympathy in me because that is probably right but because the whole thing was absolute drama – I had no reason to feel bad for her. Had there been even a fraction of a percent of painful honesty in those particular lines despite her drama, I would have sympathized but it was pure drama. Which is quite saddening. I don’t blame Maai for stopping Netra. Maai is just staying true to her character.
Netra and her accusations have no limit. They say, the way you look at people is actually your own reflection more than theirs. Of course, there are exceptions and that may not be always right but in this particular incident, it fits.
Because Netra’s mind is always busy scheming these days, she thinks that everyone is scheming.
She is scheming against Apurva and she feels that the rest of the world – her Shashank Sir excluded – is scheming against her.
Because Netra does not care who she hurts and to what extent she hurts them while achieving her own selfish motives – she thinks that everyone is capable of being as mean and cruel as she is.
Suva-Aai’s clear, unfiltered warning and declaration that she wouldn’t stand as a mute spectator to anyone falsely accusing her daughter-in-law was needed, expected and wholesome.
Good episodes! <3

Feel good …complement complement episode 👌👌 छान आहे कल्पना…
Hi harshada,
You write so well. And it’s fresh too. I really like your writing. Your writing inspires me to write something. Should I try writing?
Absolutely, Isha! You need to ask nobody. If you want to write, just do it. Do what makes your heart happy. 💜
