Had you been my cute, little puppy,
I wouldn’t have let you go away from me,
Even if the entire world thought that I was crazy.

Like I have said before as well, Suva Aai has an incredibly smart way of putting across her point. Yet another episode in which she flaunted her impressive skill. One of the most impactful scenes in this one had to be the first scene. Suva Aai and Shashank Ka-Re-Tu-Asa Kanitkar’s scene!
The very fact that Shashank couldn’t quite tolerate the feeling of being misunderstood and walked up to Suva Aai to make sure that she knew that she shouldn’t have spoken to Netra the way she did because all that he was doing was applying the ointment on her leg because she was struggling to do it by herself spoke volumes.
This is precisely what Mrs. Kanitkar has been going through, Shashank Ka-Re-Tu-Asa Kanitkar. This is precisely why she ran after you to make you believe that you were misunderstanding her. This is precisely how Mrs. Kanitkar has been feeling, Mr. Kanitkar but you won’t get it, will you? How unfortunate!
I love how this scene was thought of to put Mr. Kanitkar through what he has put Mrs. Kanitkar through. The feeling of being misunderstood by the people, you do not wish to let down in your life isn’t definitely one of the best feelings out there. Mr. Kanitkar doesn’t quite seem to get it though.
Suva Aai made sure to bring up the point that he has been drawing his conclusions based on what his eyes see and not on what his heart feels so he doesn’t truly get to tell them not to react to something because, at times, the reality could be different from what you are seeing. Remember I said, Shashank Hypocrite Kanitkar? Mr. Kanitkar clearly struggles to practice what he preaches. Hopefully, he’ll get better.
Suva Aai’s words did get Mr. Kanitkar thinking though. When he was walking upstairs with the mug of coffee, his entire attention stayed consumed by Suva Aai’s words. Almost as if wondering – was I wrong? Chuktoy ka mi Apurvachya babtit? Punha?
We all need to walk in the Kanitkar’s house and scream it together to Mr. Kanitkar – YES, YOU ARE. YOU ARE WRONG, MR. KANITKAR. YOU ARE AS WRONG AS YOU COULD BE. YOUR SO-CALLED ASSISTANT WHO YOU THINK IS A SAINT SUCKS MORE THAN THE MOST VICIOUS DEVILS WHO HAVE BEEN IN EXISTENCE. YOUR WIFE WHO YOU THINK IS A DEVIL IS AN ANGELIC FAIRY BUT YOU CAN’T SEEM TO SEE IT.
What will it take you to see things and people the way they are, Mr. Kanitkar? What will it take you?
Mrs. Kanitkar actually put herself into the thing that she literally hates. Studying. To make sure that Mr. Kanitkar would stay with her and away from Netra. While the idea did seem good to me, it honestly did not feel right. Especially after the series of mean comments and hurtful taunts that Mr. Kanitkar has made – he does not deserve any efforts from Mrs. Kanitkar’s side.
However, let’s appreciate Mrs. Kanitkar. This woman not just let go of those sickening words of Mr. Kanitkar – even if that is just for the time being – but also came up with a plan to protect their relationship from the Karela Kadwa, Madam Netra and her traps.
Her sole focus, at the moment, seems to shield the thread of her marriage that someone is trying to cut and she would do whatever it would take her to protect it. From not believing in this marriage to fighting for this marriage, Apurva Vartak Kanitkar has come a long way.
The scene was lovely, to be honest. I was able to smile throughout even after everything that Mr. Kanitkar has done lately. Him ignoring Netra and prioritizing Apurva’s studies over his own work is definitely quite something. Despite having explained that portion to her once in the past, he did not mind repeating it. In fact, got a whiteboard and drew the diagram to make sure that she wouldn’t forget it again.
The joy on Mr. Kanitkar’s face though! This man really does love academics.
Sumi and Amey’s that look to Karela Kadwa, Madam Netra though! Hilarious. Their touch to the scene made it so perfect. And this duo and Prachi actually followed Netra to the room. The whole conversation seemed pretty realistic and needed. Prachi continues to surprise me. I don’t expect her to be so upfront but it is fun to watch. Undeniably.
Why do you fight when Netra and I are together?
Is this man for real? The audacity to ask this question despite knowing the answer though! Mr. Kanitkar deserves as many smacks as he can get.
Oh, accha, mi tuzyasathi kutryacha pillu ahe!
Haha. His realization and her laughter. This has to be the sweetest part of the episode.
Tu jar maza kutryacha pillu astas, tar mi tula mazyapasun lamb jaauch dila nasta. Asa mazya javal thevla asta.
That confession right there that Mr. Kanitkar got was beautiful but the man missed it. Completely. Like always. Like always.
A lovely episode. After quite a while.
